But receiving a server, endpoint, or cloud product is only the beginning. Every new system has to be configured, maintained, updated, and protected. For organizations with limited budgets or no dedicated IT staff, that responsibility can turn a generous donation into a serious security risk.
We notify organizations when public information points to risk.
Sometimes a server or endpoint is exposed to the public internet with a known vulnerability. When publicly accessible information indicates that an Oklahoma organization may be affected, we reach out so its team can investigate and take action.
Our role is to provide a respectful, useful warning—not to test the system ourselves. We share what can already be learned from public sources and give the organization an opportunity to address the issue on its own terms.
We never touch an organization’s servers, attempt to access them, or perform scans against them. Our outreach is based only on information that is already publicly accessible.

Sooner Secure is developing ways to automate the technical work that supports regulatory compliance in Microsoft environments.
Our goal is to help organizations assess configurations, gather evidence, identify gaps, and track remediation against frameworks such as HIPAA and NIST Special Publication 800-53. Automation cannot replace policy, leadership, or professional judgment, but it can make technical controls more consistent and give smaller organizations a clearer path forward.
